Reading #CallOfTheBoneShips #TideChild and I don’t know if I’m more saddened for Gullaime or Shorn. Though the character development from that moment is incredible.

The two books I am reading at the moment. One is an upcoming book ( I have just started one and nearly finished the other), and the other one is nearly finished.

So I got some books because double stamps. I also discovered I have about £90 in rewards, so recommendations are very welcome for near future. Shelves to give an idea of what I own/have read.

I wish more of my book friends would ditch X and come over here full time. That place sucks. And it would be so nice to be able to enjoy it even more here where the book talk is much better, the algorithm doesn't crush you, and the ads are non-existent.

That’s been published since Jan 2024? Ooh so hard to pick just one, I’ve loved so many and recommended/bought several for other people, I’ll go with The Last Shield by @cameronjohnston.bsky.social. I nagged my husband until he read it too :). It’s such a fun romp of a read!

I've not been out to a Waterstones for a while since I moved rural. I think I might today, get stuff done early, hop on a bus and head into the city to have a coffee, read and maybe give in to temptation - suggestions of what to look for welcome.

Disappointed to see that the #JorvikVikingFestival seems to have done away with the big evening show concluding with fireworks and a large scale tale. I loved the Realms of Yggdrasil show, I enjoyed Tyrfing, the cursed sword. #JVF #JVF26. It was always the big highlight of the week for me.

I'm surprised how far off my 30 I'm going to end up. It's been a weird year for my focus in regards to books. Not a bad year, but definitely not as easy to escape as I'd been hoping.

With one chonky book going in for proofreading, I’m gonna make a mad push to wrap final revisions of my other chonk sequel for my editor so I can spend the downtime hammering out a Corrin the Magnificent solo prequel. Oh, did I mention I’m working on a Corrin solo prequel? I am.
