This was interesting & I can now say we have 1 young cat (Sweetie, 6), 1 mature cat (Susan, 7.5), 1 senior (Padma, 11), and 1 super-senior (!) (Leopold, 16.5).

Found a new ITB stretch that feels like it does something (idk why, but challenging for me & not bc I’m flexible bc I am_not_), but I may be doing too much on theft side? Or maybe it’s just everything near my left hip is cranky? Idk. Anyway, this seems to work even if I need some NSAIDs.

NTS: no matter what; not even if you’re dancing like a little kid bc you have to pee so much; stop to pick up any piece of Leopold poop the second you see it. If you don’t, you’ll immediately be sidetracked mentally, step in it & then track bits all over the damn floor. 🤬🤬🤬

Ok. Current pool tool pole is 12 feet at full extension. Have ordered one that is 16.6 feet at full extension. Open question whether I’ll be able to control it, but if I can, that should be long enough to reach the big piles of leaves on the bottom.

It’s not cold at 60°, but it is gray outside and the pool water is much colder. Without sun, I’m just not prepared to keep getting soaked trying to clean out the pool. There’s a gigantic pile of leaves in the center of the deep end that will probably have to come out by hand & that’s damp work.

Of course I have not been doing knee exercises while I was having the stomach troubles and now, as expected, my right knee is being very difficult. Maybe by the end of the week I’ll be fully back to normal? Usually takes several days of exercises before the pain lessens.

After wiping my thumb down with nail polish remover bc B said acetone gets the stickier glues off, it has improved. My skin was tight under the glue & the acetone seemed to break it up a little. Sadly my hands are so dry that I don’t seem have any oil of my own to slough it off w/o lots of products.

Welllll B’s fist day was a bit weird. The general manager is new to the position - it was all his first day - and there’s no power and the purchasing set up is maybe not as simple as the folks at HQ said it would be. Shop is on FPL’s wait list for service, so that’s not great. & he got back spasms.

The lid on one of the autofeeders has stopped closing properly and the cats have nearly figured it out. Opened it (and one that works for comparison) and two tiny arms that aren’t attached should be. They provide tension to keep it closed. Somehow, in all the adhesives we have, none are right.

They apparently shouldn’t have charged me at all - 2nd time I’ve been left feeling scammed by Baptist / affiliated services. And of course no appts today. Going to find a new place for annuals. This is absurd.

Sigh. Annual gyn appt. It was made this time last year. Got the reminders, registered in advance, _paid_ in advance, got here 3 min late bc I forgot the cross street. Then I find out the provider is no longer here and they have no appt in system. They did refund my card at least. 🙄🙄🙄

Today is B’s first day at his new job! He was pretty jaunty this morning. My day’s excitement is that when I went to take the orchids out of their weekly soak, I saw Leopold on the sunroom sofa/pee pads & realized he looked guilty. So I scooped him up and put him in a box and he went there! Woo!
