The thing with placeholders is they are meant to be rough/easy to notice so they can be replaced with the true asset later, not some facsimile from AI that can escape notice & ship in the final product. All this does is prove Gen AI was used in the creative process, no way was it just 1 texture.

In regards to this it escaped my notice that Clair Obscur did the same thing & quietly patched it out without addressing the issue. I will not be continuing to stream it. I do not make exceptions for the use of Gen-AI in games regardless how good the game may be or how minor the usage is.
