Speaking of the datasette I spent all of yesterday trying to record VIC 20 programs to tape from a WAV file using a dinky cassette recorder I got from Amazon, and could not get any completely successful loads. Anybody know of some high fidelity cassette recorders that are perfect for the task?

Ah, well. I got the C64 to boot up and I played around with it for about 30 minutes, power cycled it twice and now I've got a black screen and no power LED.... PSU is outputting 5.25VDC Really hoping I didn't kill this thing, but knowing my luck.......
