I've given Bluesky a proper go but social media just doesn't feel good for me anymore. It's so isolating and random and useless. This year I will be focusing much more on joining real life community groups where I can (and understand I am hugely privileged to have this as an option)

I'd love to join more real life community groups this year, particularly ones focused around global majority groups in nature, hiking, gardening, swimming and similar. Can anyone recommend groups like this in Bristol?

It's amazing how you can learn to communicate with a loved one when they can't speak anymore, I understand every little eye movement and hand gesture and the specific way she twitches her eyebrows to ask: what day is it? How's everyone at home? What did you do today?

My mum's illness recently has given me an appreciation of life that is so deep, I know it's cliche but have you ever thought about how you can sit yourself up in bed, go downstairs, make yourself breakfast and do things like put your shoes on? Never taking that for granted again ‼️
