Either Ted Sarandos opens up more to theatrical windows that can maximize their presence and physical media releases for more revenue streams at Netflix pending their acquisition of Warner Bros. or he might face even more scrutiny as the merger process could likely be blocked altogether.

Things are still flexible at the moment. David Zaslav, WBD’s board of directors and all of their employees need to push back against Netflix’s standard way of doing things, viewed as anti-consumerism behind a paywall. Keep supporting theaters and physical media any which way you can.

Nearing the end of Metroid Prime 4. After the first 2 hours, I went "feels like a 8/10". After another 2 hours, 7.5/10. Another two, 7/10. Right now I'm at around a 6/10 and I'm really just kinda sad.

Nothing can replace the passion you can hear annd even feel in a performance because the VA enjoys a specific role.

Saw the rerelease in 1977. First time I ever literally jumped in my seat.

He's absolutely right though. I've seen Jaws several times since I was a kid, but only ever on TV. I went to see the 50th anniversary re-release this year and it blew me away with just how good it was. Up to that point I 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 I'd seen Jaws, but it was a wholly different experience.

Yeah, I'm with Nick here. Genuinely don't know why this is reviewing worse than the first. I like that movie fine, don't get me wrong, but I was much more invested in the plot here and the connections to the 1939 film. Songs are less memorable, but as an overall experience, I prefer this one.

Every time I hear Brandon talk about not being confident in his voice acting, I’m like….”huh?” I know imposter syndrome is a b-word, but Brandon’s VA work in Helluva is genuinely some of the best I’ve ever heard.
