15 years ago we arrived for the second time in Cville . After living here for 2 years we moved back to Berlin bc my husbands postdoc was over and our new jobs waited for us in Berlin. We missed Cville, the weather and my husband missed working in academics. This town has become home.

The other day someone was shocked that Germans don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, 🤷‍♀️ Our adapted way to celebrate is being together as a family, eating a goose, traditional German red cabbage and German dumplings. And always learn your history.
