Every other art form i have tried BESIDES comics, is less difficult than comics. Its CRAZY how much work comics is. Its exhausting. Its so much endless labor. On the other hand now everything else feels easier so now i am very powerful like a shonen anime character taking off his limiters.

At my talk on the history of cards last week, someone asked what my favourite deck is, (after I said the French-suited 'standard' 52 card deck's popularity was the result of colonialism rather than being the best). I don't have one answer but I have some highlights. I like the Sicilian Ace of Clubs.

I keep replaying all sorts of scenarios in my head of how things could go if/when I quit and it occurred to me I never really just stopped doing stuff altogether. I'm actually really into the Ferengi costume design. Fun fact, apparently TNG started with drab military wear, but the colorful and outlandish clothes in "Captain's Holiday" had such a positive response, they decided to keep Ferengi in civilian attire going forward and we're all the richer for it
