I am devastated to hear of the news of an attack on a Jewish community in Manchester on Yom Kippur. My thoughts are with the local Jewish community who will now be fearful on an important day of observance in the Jewish calendar.

This week I took a motion to council to urgently roll out Moving Traffic Enforcement cameras across the city. I outline in my speech how the failure to consistently enforce traffic rules is causing resentment and division.

Well done to Severn Trent this morning. They turned out within an hour to a blocked drain. It had overflowed in the heavy rain and flooded the nearby pub and alley with 🤢smelly water contaminated with oil and grease. The case will now be referred to

to investigate.
