Don Callis is in my city. And despite my wife and I not being able to attend Dynamite today, we are gonna be loudly booing his presence here. No wonder there was a stench in the air today.

Since AEW is in town today, I figured I’d be a sicko at work and try to recruit some folks. Sadly, no pamphlets taken. But im doing my best to support @eviluno.bsky.social

AEW is coming to town again Wednesday and sadly this is just the second time I’m unable to go. Been to every other show at least, but this time finances just didn’t work out. Home repairs, AC repairs and car repairs in the summer just added up to too much. Next year for sure.

Mascara Dorada is and has always been an outstanding luchador. Love seeing folks get hyped after seeing him in action. 🤼

At this point, I may have to bow out of future generations and just focus on backlog and replaying my collection. If I’m gonna get priced out of one of my hobbies, might as well enjoy what I have even more.

My wife has listened to so much of AEW’s music whenever I’m driving, that now in other mediums she’s asking if @mikeyrukus.bsky.social is making music on games too. We gotta do a double take to make sure and confirm it wasn’t. But he’s now part of the family music rotation.

Just when things were starting to look up and we were digging ourselves out, life throws us back into the hole with a new fun issue. This year has definitely been challenging for sure.

Sometimes when my wife goes upstairs to relax, I stay downstairs in silence listening to her laugh at funny videos online. It’s the little things, but it brings me so much joy and comfort just hearing her laugh.

I still can’t believe it took me this long to get to Chrono Trigger. It has everything I love. Classic JRPG, excellent music, time travel, Toriyama’s art. How I managed to not play this classic until now is beyond me.

Perfection. I gotta pull my current one out of my 3DS to prepare for a new adventure!

I cannot wait for this game. I’m so excited.

Currently on a retro kick thanks to the Retroid Pocket 4p. Finally getting to Chrono Trigger for the first time and revisiting my favorite Zelda at the same time.

It’s been too long but it feels right to see Nyla with gold again.

It’s weird to think that in a year where a new Mario Kart came out, my most hyped kart racer of the year is Sonic. Feels weird.

Well, my phone has started to autocorrect certain words with AEW if there’s any typo there. I must really be a sicko for even my phone knowing what’s up.

With finances still thin for the foreseeable future, chances of a Switch 2 are still very slim. But now I’m getting back into retro games after getting a Retroid Pocket. It just feels right. Time to revisit a lot of classics there and revisit some Switch 1 favorites.
