Playthrough 2 of Expedition 33 and, if anything, it’s even better this time around. Not only do I understand the systems better, so the early game is a bit less bruising, but the foreshadowing in the writing is masterful. Playing it knowing what I know now opens up a whole new side to the narrative

My 4yo daughter has been up before 5.30am every morning this week because of the clock change at the weekend. We both feel absolutely exhausted. Why do we continue to put the clocks back / forwards?

I’m (I think) about 2/3rds of the way through Keeper and I don’t really know how I feel about it. It’s gorgeous and has a very distinctive art style and the non-verbal storytelling is very impressive… but it’s just not a huge amount of fun to actually play, mechanically

We played our first game of SETI last night. Really enjoyable, kinda feels like peak Eurogame with elements of Brass, Terraforming Mars and Terra Mystica. Extremely well designed and lots of variety. Visually stunning. Looking forward to repeat plays #boardgames

I am absolutely loving this book. One of my favourite series of the last few years.

Got to love PC gaming. A routine Windows update fatally wounded my motherboard, which now needs to be replaced. I’ve already bought new RAM because initial signs pointed to a failed stick but it looks like it’s the memory controller or slots on the mobo.
