I'm looking back on the year as it draws to a close, and I realize that, despite the fact that none of my big plans have come to fruition, I've still done a lot of cool things, connected (and reconnected!) with some cool people, and have done okay overall. The second of today's spite sketches, a human for once! Since I can't break too far from my comfort zone, she's still a cute shy nerd with glasses. I think I definitely have a type... If there's been one good thing about having computer issues, it's that my wrist really needed the break!

Slapped together two quick sketches just now, because if I'm going to be stuck with this unstable old computer, then I might as well make something with it. Some kind of stern dog lady? I was just winging it here, really.

Spent six hours fighting with the worst touchpad I've ever dealt with in my life, including doing a factory reset because things were so bad I thought the software broke somehow. I'm not dealing with this and I'm sending the new laptop back the day after Christmas.

I think I might actually destroy this computer once I've transferred everything to the new one. I've had enough of messing with drivers and command prompts. If this is indeed a creeping hardware failure, then I shall hasten it and settle the matter for good.

Apologies for the lack of art (and other stuff); computer issues have become intolerable and a replacement has been ordered. New machine expected to arrive tomorrow; not looking forward to spending a day installing things, but that's life (annoying).

Today I remembered playing D&D 5e (Lost Mine of Phandelver) with a certain DM. We used the premade characters, and I got stuck with the Champion Fighter (Noble background). The DM LOVED fumble rules. After LMoP ended in a TPK, I built my first-ever coffeelock. I hate fumble rules.
