Okay, so now that the news is officially out, I have to tell you the story of how I found out that THE LAST HOUR BETWEEN WORLDS was going to be an Illumicrate book! First, for those not deeply immersed in publishing, some context for why this was such a big deal to me.

So wonderful to see The Sword Unbound by @mytholder.bsky.social on this list, also I’ve read the third book and it’s even better!

This (spoilers) is going to be in my best of the year list; pick it for cheap if this sale applies where you are! Dragons metaphorical and real, horny queers making bad decisions, and a very Australian story of extractive capitalism, colonialism, and patriarchy.
