This year I did Yule AND Christmas and both were spiritual but non-Christian to me. Yule is literally to thank the dark days and welcome the return of the night. Christmas is to honor my family, many of whom have passed & many I could not be with. It is ALSO a celebration of winter itself to me.

While my public persona would have you believe I am a bossy Kristy, an artsy Claudia, a literary Mary Anne, or an activist like Dawn. I regret to inform you I am a people-pleaser child of divorce, who loves the city too much, & was socially ostracized for child onset chronic illness. So. 😅

We didn't know how baby's 1st gift giving day was gonna go but she loves EVERYTHING so much and is getting deeply upset if we interrupt during her independent play trying to figure it all out
