I suppose they're just labeling it all as "affordability," which reeks to me of lame reframing of stale "kitchen table" nonsense that just demonstrates the gulf between political elites and people.

The fact that Abundance—despite all the discourse—is a virtually unknown concept speaks volumes and should raise serious questions whether politicians who are embracing its logic have their heads screwed on correctly.

Permitting reform = inside push by insider energy & technology interests w/bottomless lobbying resources combined with an array of Abundance-flavored think tanks that exist almost exclusively in white papers, blog posts, & social media. I.e., "Abundance" = meaningless concept with people.

My $0.02: Democrats should reject the pro-fossil fuel "permitting reform" frame set by Manchin in 2022 that sweeps aside people and place. It's just a mousetrap set by energy & tech industries that ain't worth the cheese.

BREAKING: #NMPol Water Quality Control Commission just voted to hold a rulemaking to allow the discharge of "treated" fracking waste to NM rivers, streams, groundwater, and use in agriculture. It's an abomination.
