Letting families go hungry is a moral failure. That’s why I joined 21 Democratic governors demanding the White House protect SNAP funding during this reckless federal shutdown. Cutting SNAP is a cruel and inexcusable burden to place on working families, children, and seniors who don’t deserve it.

New Mexico lost a treasure yesterday. Florence Jaramillo, the heart of Rancho de Chimayó, passed away at 94. Her love and legacy will live on in her family, her restaurant, and in all who had the joy of knowing her. May her memory be a blessing.
