It is very sad to hear about the passing of Sir John Gurdon. His work reshaped biology and inspired generations to come. I had the chance to meet him in 2019, a brief encounter that left a lasting impression.

#Zebrafish genome reference update: it is now "live" on the UCSC genome browser at: genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTr... I am working on getting it included in the zebrafish genome pull down menu with the previous assemblies but that isn't working yet.
