I shouldn't have participated in that last trend. One thing is having a "controversial take", but there's so many just... factually wrong it kinda boggles the mind a bit.

The EU had an expiration date. The Disney purchase saved the franchise not just in the public consciousness, but for fans too. Legacy of the Force was bad enough, but Fate of the Jedi furthered the free-fall. People were leaving in droves or actively being vocal about how bad things were getting.

Knights of the Old Republic is the gold standard by which I measure Star Wars comics to this day.
