Here are a couple first-draft ideas of my new 'sona, drawn by @kristintree.bsky.social! I leaned a bit more into the dragon than the cat in this design, and even though I didn't stick with it, I still LOVE these!

I use this template for my comic pages, which has a much smaller "safe area" than a lot of other comic templates I see. This is due to my history working at a print shop and making a lots of trimming errors, lol. BIG NOTE: I self-publish, if you don't, get a template from your publisher FIRST.
