This has been my life for a majority of the past month, and it's made me realize that I need a career change. Getting sick with the same thing twice back-to-back when I'm eating healthier than ever should not be happening.

Sometimes you really just need a group of friends to tell you to stop being anxious and do shit for yourself. Got that this past weekend and suddenly my motivation is recovered. Find you friends who believe in you like that.

Okay got most of the art needed for my setting intro, now I just need to....get to liking the sound of my voice hahaha. I've been hating it for a while now, despite multiple compliments that I have a voice for radio.

Dropped a couple things on the ref sheet since I was getting hung up on them, and I can always add them later. Then I finished the portrait! Just leaves Issuldra's belongings, as well as her shapeshifting forms, and lastly some text explaining things.

Took a break from Issuldra's character page to update some of the Fae and starting with the earth fae. istg I looked at a reference but his face looks so goofy and I can't pin down why.

So it took about 7 hours, almost a gallon of drinking water, one straight-cold shower, two heavy duty air movers, one trip to the store and a significant amount of cussing to get the desk and tablet setup during a heatwave. But it's done!

Ordered my new Huion screen tablet 8am yesterday as what I *thought* would be a late birthday present to myself, with the plan of setting up the new desk that arrives on Monday, then the new tablet. Nope! Huion got it to me today so, happy birthday to me I guess? lol

Share this far and wide! Being the one to write up the contract gives you control. Smaller clients don't often know what copyright to ask for & artists end up doing work for hire jobs just because that's the template the client happened to download. Having a good contract is good for everyone!

Okay I've had my fun, gonna start forcing myself to work on one major thing for Soltir per week. This week I'm looking at the continental map of Herthlan, including a breakdown of the different biomes and even a layout of where certain natural disasters are more likely to happen.
