MY best books of the year. These books have stayed with me and gave me the best reading experiences. They reminded me why I read. Some I wanted to share and some I wanted to hoard. Each book gave me exactly what I wanted, something I didn’t know I needed, and made me feel valued as a reader.

And now I am thinking of rereading it!

Update: I have finished A SORCERESS COMES TO CALL and it's absolutely brilliant. Ursula continues to mature and grow as an author, like a very excellent piece of cheddar. Her writing has started to develop those little crystals of deliciousness that make mature cheddar so good.
