I just installed my first Linux distro ever on my old Surface Pro 4 to give it a new life, since Win10 support is ending and the SP4 was barely useable now, even after a fresh Win10 install. It's easier to install Fedora on it than reinstall Windows. And it runs 10x better than Win10. Nice

Watched Sinners again twice in the past few days, one time with my family, none of them saw it in theaters and they all liked it. It was also my niece's first horror movie and she LOVED it. Success.

Why? What's the point of burning money to do something people could do themselves, and decide not to? Internet is getting filled with fake content, it's already becoming dangerous, and now they have to process real videos and give them that AI generated look too? What are we doing?

Studios need to stop doing this, it's disrespectful for artists AND for the public. VFX are cool.

I love GdT, and maybe it's a clickbaity out of context quote from Variety, but VFX is craftmanship, and conflating it with AI is awkward at best, especially from the guy that made Pacific Rim. Our work is getting attacked over and over these past years for marketing reasons, I'm getting tired of it.
