I started using social media around age 15. Back then, I posted things that seem bizarre by today's standards. Still, I vividly remember how welcoming the internet used to be—people actually took the time to discuss ideas instead of just taking jabs at each other.

One day we might realise that sitting a load of coughing, spluttering, unwell people together in tiny NHS waiting rooms might be a bit of a false economy. I'd love the option to wait outside please. And to do everything else outside. The consultant. Can I see him outside? There must be a better way.

I loved X-Men as a kid. Then, out of the blue, a few years ago my teenage son became the biggest X-Men fan! Which in turn reignited my own love for the franchise.
