As annoyed as I am about having to miss the Gladie show tonight, the fact that my prior commitment (Nick Lowe) is a reserved seating event takes some of the edge off. The number of GA/Standing Room events I can endure in a row diminishes with each passing year.

Finally got around to cleaning and fixing up the kitchen cabinets I don't ever use (but need now, because I am running out of space). So far, I've found lots of expired seasonings (i.e. soy sauce from 2013), but behind all of it I found a completely intact vintage Champion Juicer.

Yesterday, as I drove to a show, the iPod dredged up a track by 'Smiling', a sadly now defunct band that formed out of the remains of 'Annie Girl And The Flight'. I haven't thought about them for a while. I should probably just pull up the rest of their library and listen to it from end to end.

PG&E just sent me an ALERT to warn me that my gas usage had doubled in the past week. How much more usage does that amount to? 1 Therm. My usage increased from 1 Therm to 2 Therms. Yep. This is clearly a crisis, thanks for being on top of that guys.
