Just rewatched Under The Skin for the first time in about 10 years and holy moly it still packs a punch doesn't it? That first 45 or so minutes are easily up there with the most unsettling bits of film I've ever seen. Mica Levi's score plays a huge part in that too, it's so unnerving.

I read Dark Days by James Baldwin earlier this year, and despite just being a very short collection of essays, I could've posted about a million very prescient lines from it. He truly was one of the all time greats.
