Okay about a third into Hide and yes, Kiersten White is so good at suspense and making me care about her characters. I love it, I need her to write more horror.

I was maybe fifty pages in to Incidents Around the House, thinking maybe everyone was just wrong about scary it was, when I threw the book about two feet in the air. Just finished and it was such a scary time.

Really enjoyed My Best Friend’s Exorcism! Very lighthearted and fun, compared to what I was expecting. Not a complaint, since I just finished a very spooky horror and next up is claustrophobic (?) space horror.

My goal for the new year is to read at least two books per month. I’m off to a strong start— I finished We Used to Live Here in three days. I loved it and I need at least three more books in this world. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a book journal app?
