Whelp. Looks like I am running three 'Carved From Brindlewood' sessions at UKGE; two sessions of a short form game I wrote myself, specifically designed to be run at cons, and a Public Access one-shot "House on Escondido Street". Whose idea was this? What do you mean "I only have myself to blame?"

I read through this mystery while running my own game of PA and thought it was great. I couldn't quite fit into my campaign because how it played out but it was very atmospheric. Would recommend!

Robotech was highly influential on my youth but it was a highly edited adaptation of a Japanese animé (see also Battle of the Planets v Ninja Science Team Gatachaman). Since I noticed Disney+ has every Macross series, time to watch the original!

Today was the finale of our Public Access campaign. I started running this ttrpg back in March 2025. The ending was somewhat rushed as one of my players has a 6 week business trip coming up, so it was finish today or March... but it is an excellent game and would thoroughly recommend it.

I don't really care what the internet says, the ending to Stranger Things was almost perfect. If I had one criticism, it would be that it took too long for each subsequent season after the first two to come out. To the point where all the "kids" are now twenty-somethings.
