Abolish ICE is not enough. Stern words for Greg Bovino or Kristi Noem is not enough. We need prosecutions and trials. Anything short of this position fails to address the gravity of this moment.

The rightwing response to the murder of Alex Pretti is predictable: to outshout and talk over anyone taking another position. The shrillness on Twitter is especially grating, but again, not surprising. It's Orwell's doublespeak. If the man had a cell phone instead of a gun, yell louder.

In the least surprising defection ever, I'm delighted to welcome Suella Braverman to Reform. Her invaluable experience as a minister includes getting sacked from the same job twice and saying that being homeless is a “lifestyle choice”.

Most importantly, public opinion on ICE has shifted dramatically. Democrats aren’t going to vote to fund DHS/ICE. The public doesn‘t approve of masked federal agents murdering American citizens in broad daylight. The people of Minnesota are showing how it’s done. We can win together.

Naming someone is not doxxing. They aren’t undercover. They aren’t intelligence agents overseas. This is outrageous - we are supposed to be a free Republic and these people want an authoritarian police state. Lawsuits should be filed & ranking Dems in Congress should act.

There are people in this country who, given the circumstances, would be as every bit as depraved as ICE in the USA. And, BTW, both Reform and the Conservatives have pledged to have a "British ICE" if given the chance. So we mustn't give them the chance.
