Thinking about #crypto and #science as I read Gleick’s biography of Newton. Newton’s mathematics had an enormous impact on the economy, including the regularization of money. It brought forth people who aimed to undermine the currency in various ways.

Today a CS student commented that in fields using Frontier models, only neuroscience treats the network itself as a model of the system under study. I have heard this and believe it to be true. He went on to express skepticism about the approach. I wonder what others think about this.
