Thrilled the Orinda Union School District voted this week to move forward with transferring the Wagner Ranch Nature Area to John Muir Land Trust- a big step toward reopening this beloved space. The $1.5M in state funds I secured will help restore it as an outdoor classroom + community treasure. 🌿

Assemblymember @bauerkahan.bsky.social’s #AB56 has been signed into law by @governor.ca.gov! By adding warning labels to social media platforms, AB 56 gives CA a new tool to protect our children. CA won’t sit and wait for companies to decide to prioritize children’s well-being over profits.

October is Menopause Awareness Month. Up to 70% of women seeking menopause care don’t get the treatment they need. AB 432 ensures coverage for FDA-approved treatments. It passed with bipartisan support: now I’m urging the Governor to sign it.
