Grateful to spend time with Scouts of America Troop 236 yesterday, talking about public service, what it’s like to serve in the State Assembly, and the constitutional rights and responsibilities we all share as Americans. Always energizing to engage with young people in AD-16.

I commend @governor.ca.gov for calling for, & @agrobbonta.oag.ca.gov for investigating, xAI and Grok over non-consensual AI pornographic images. This is exactly why I introduced AB 621: to strengthen enforcement against deepfake abuse. CA leads in protecting people from AI harms.

Thrilled the Orinda Union School District voted this week to move forward with transferring the Wagner Ranch Nature Area to John Muir Land Trust- a big step toward reopening this beloved space. The $1.5M in state funds I secured will help restore it as an outdoor classroom + community treasure. 🌿
