I will be the first to admit that I haven't been a big fan of EA. My biggest concern are the programmers, artists, musicians and coders within EA that may get hit with Reductions in Force after this. My thoughts are with folks doing the work and thrust into a situation they have no control over.

Video gaming hot take coming in: There is an important distinction between "I like the game even though it is difficult" versus "I like the game BECAUSE it is difficult". I love my ungodly hard games, but high difficulty does not always equal high quality (or fun). 1/2

In other news, I am needing a cane to deal with chronic pain flare ups. It's an "as needed" type of thing.

I am at work at 6AM right now so I can leave earlier than normal to facilitate my gender affirming Drs appointment. It's better than burning through my PTO, but not by much.

@joystick.tv I'm gonna start the approval process soon, however, since the last time I got my license picture taken, I've lost nearly 200 lbs and came out as trans. Is this going to be a problem? Feel free to PM me if need be.

I can cross this off my "pinball bucket list". It is more an experiment than a functional or more importantly fun game, but glad to have gotten to experience this buckwild machine.
