#MPPrompt This is a tough question, because I still feel like a child right now. The child-like wonder when I see the beauty that is out there, like on a fresh snowfall. I think there's a proverb that should state that whoever loses their childish heart is no longer alive.

I wrote 7.5 pages, yesterday. And not once, did I feel the "why should I bother writing this? mindset lurking. Then, I opened my sales report..... It was eye-opening and mind-blowing. I shouldn't write. But I will continue. Just to see those who didn't give a damn come out of the woodwork.

Woke up 3 hours ago. Wrote 5.5 pages so far, and I'm still not done. Took the recycling out. Started 2 loads of laundry. Implemented a recycling system. And it's only 6 o'clock in the morning. Oh, and I put on pants at 5 AM. Not a fan.

Went to bed at 9:30 and woke up at 2 in the morning. Been writing ever since. With 2 interruptions: one was to make a cup of tea and the other was to write this post. If you want to write, consider the lack of sleep.

Friday night. The kettle is boiling. I'm about to make a cup of tea for myself. Then, there shall be words. Working on either a novel or a play. We'll see what the muses decide.

This novel has an interesting backstory. It involves leather coats, rugs and bus stops. In November 2019, I was on a trip in Scotland, where I met a friend and fellow writer. That's a story for another post. The only thing linked to the story is that said friend was immortalised in these pages.
