WorldCon is in a couple of weeks, and I've done my duties as a moderator of panels. Introductory email sent, with topic and outline suggestion. I'm really looking forward to the event, but it's going to arrive too soon.

This is going to live in my head for the next week or so, so... I'll put it in your head, too.

Been sick all week. Covid test says negative. Melissa hasn't been sick at all. Probably not Covid. Been reading Dayquil/Nyquil bottles. "To avoid liver damage, no more than 4 doses in 24 hours." "Adults, take a dose every 4 hours." I know I'm sick, but that doesn't math in my favor.

When it happens, you're probably not even going to learn about it directly before you feel it in the air. You'll just hear car horns and cheering in the streets. You'll feel confused, annoyed. You'll check your phone. Huh, 41 new texts.

Every time I step outside my comfort zone, I forget just how long I'm going to be uncomfortable.

Niagara Falls, specifically Clifton Street, is way more of an amusement park than I expected. I'm not sure what to expect, actually.

Last flight. Soon to Toronto. Maybe THIS flight will be the one where I suddenly become perfectly comfortable flying.

Some people were saying stuff to me at work today, but I couldn't hear them over the sound of my vacation to Niagara Falls, which starts tomorrow.

Here is my review of Superman (2025). I go over some of the things you've seen other places, but I also talk about this movie from the perspective of someone that was adopted. Nuance aside, this movie is excellent and I'm looking forward to seeing it again.
