Back in my own bed. Unfortunately have to work tomorrow despite having booked it off.

We've laughed, we've cried, we laughed some more until we cried. Shared memories, looked at photos, drank cocktails and wine, eaten good food. I really needed this couple of days.

24 years since we last met up and it was like it was just yesterday. So many laughs.

Tomorrow is meet up with one of my oldest friends day!!! We met on the first day of primary school and are still friends a few decades later. And both in Canada.

It's been an 'interesting' couple of weeks for me at work. The support I've received from my direct leadership & colleagues has been brilliant. I was reminded that some bumps in the road are bigger than others & I'm not on my own. Grateful for those women.
