bontu, the glorified. she is my favorite character in Magic. i own the invocations foil (it was the first "fancy" card i ever bought). she's not powerful & flies under the radar, but provides enough value & joy that i'll never take her out! #traitorgator

The flavor of oral tradition passing on knowledge via card draw and making you lose more knowledge/cards unless you give up creatures and then being able to be harmonized by the next generation is S tier flavor in a simple card design. It's so elegant.

I use this in my Homura Goblin deck, targeting myself as a flavorful way to sacrifice Homura and get his big payoff.
