I think some people hear “grants” and think that without them, scientists and government workers just have less stuff to play with at work. But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service. “Pausing” grants means people don’t eat.

It’s been a fun week preparing and rehearsing for this weekend’s production of “An American Christmas Carol” with Ballet Fantastique at the Hult Center (Eugene, OR)… the dancers are amazing, the set designs are GORGEOUS, the band is fab, and hamming it up with the ghost of Marley is delightful. 1/2⬇️
