Dance like no one is watching … Frozen in mid-step, this little Tarantine terracotta dancer’s himation (with traces of bright pink pigment) swirls about her feet. She wears an ivy leaf wreath on her head, connecting her to the worship of Dionysus. Almost certainly placed in a tomb. 🏺 📸 me
