Democrats asked for ONE THING today to reopen the govt: Keep health insurance subsidies where they are at now for one year. That is IT. Nothing else. Republicans said no. So all the lies they tell every day about things Dems are asking for is BS. Republicans OWN this shutdown.

Trump was eviscerated by a federal court judge for refusing to obey his order to reverse layoffs at the Voice of America. For the second time, the judge ordered the VOA to rehire the staff. Trump moved to lay off 532 staff at the agency. All but three radio broadcast technicians were fired.

Cruelty really is the point. Who else would go to court begging for permission to starve their own citizens? Meanwhile, they send $40 billion to Argentina, buying two private jets for ICE “Barbie,” and Trump has already burned through $1 trillion in less than two months.

A federal judge has ruled that the partisan language the Trump admin added to the out-of-office emails of furloughed Education Department employees violates their First Amendment rights.

Americans are finally starting to receive their SNAP benefits. Trump is rushing to the Supreme Court to try to ensure those people starve.

The talking point they came up with is so lame and pathetic. Yes, insurance premiums are paid to insurance companies. Yes, the subsidies help low and low-middle income people afford to pay them. That’s how the ACA works. Just admit you want to raise premiums on 22 million people.
