Studios didn’t hire me because I had no experience in gaming… so I decided to make my own. Here’s my first indie game: Maseylia – Echoes of the Past. It’s an action-platformer imagined as a 3D metroidvania: backtracking, unlockable abilities, exploration, combat… And it’s inspired by Moebius.

I actually made a ton of sprites and animations for this prologue concept (many of which are on patreon), but it became too big to be "just a prologue." Here's an NPC talking anim that I still like:
