As I’m looking into art mediums to try out I fell down a rabbit hole about sofubi - soft vinyl figures that are made in molds & known for bright paint jobs. I thought it might be something to consider but then the DIY videos are showing there are 2-3 $100+ machines recommended for the process……

They were making magic 60 years ago because this is still as striking and eerie now as it certainly was then.
