Illegally fired CDCer, public health nerd, sports fan, book lover, and hater of all things fascist
Restef Levi, Robert Malone, Evelyn Griffin deserve NO peace at all. Throw FDA quack Tracy Beth Hoeg in there too. I hope people protest at their houses, their places of work, and they are publicly shamed wherever they go.

The sartorial choices for Robert Malone at ACIP are indicative of the death of evidence-based science. Is he really wearing a black suit and black tie (funeral attire) two days in a row? Ugh.

Robert Malone is that guy that says we have 20 minutes left and proceeds to âum, um, [repeats the question], let me clarify what youâre saying, um, um, oops, weâre out of time.â Just terrible facilitation on purpose.

WelpâCDCâs entire data team for its legendary national health and nutrition survey (NHANES)âour health censusâhas been laid off. Now we are flying blind to nutrition and chronic disease status in the U.S.âis this supposed to help us be MAHA?

CDC is not a Democratic or Republican agency. It's an American agency. One in three employees have been lost in recent months. This is dismantling of our health protections, not reform.

Congress needs to demand transparency re these CDC firings and what happened. I don't think "miscoding" is the reason nearly 50% of those fired were rescinded. Maybe it was the public awareness that programs like global health, suicide prevention, and measles response were being eliminated...

I can't get over how the CDC layoffs are coming less than two months after the attempted mass shooting. The agency is being taken apart brick by brick. The public servants there do not deserve this.

I hope news reporters pick this up! According to 2018 ACIP documents, working groups are FACA-exempt since they perform in a fact-finding role; do not include a quorum; and, do not vote on policy.

CFB was wild yesterday! I think about a commentator urging kids not to become RBs, WRs or QBs, but kickers and punters. Yesterday, kickers (and holders) were the make-it-or-break-it piece of the team.

Trump has never even acknowledged the shooting at CDC - where an anti-vax gunman sprayed hundreds of bullets - where a police officer died. He also left behind a wife and child. RFK Jr returned to publicly spreading antivax lies within days.
