100 Days of Anime! Day 59. Best harem/reverse harem Asobi ni Ikuyo! (I've Come to Play!) The pop culture references are cleverly woven into the plot & have great payoffs for comedy & character arcs. The MC, Kio speaks his mind & is an active helper which makes the series payoff feel earned.

100 Days of Anime! Day 50. Recommend a hidden gem! This is one of my favorite things to do as an anime fan, and my pick for this prompt is Wizardry (OVA, 1991), a 50-minute distillation of the RPG game series that still defines almost every major trope in fantasy anime to this day!

100 Days of Anime! Day 49. Anime sequel that shouldn't have released The vast majority of the plot and characters in Psycho Pass season 2 were just plain dumb... This show felt written by committee at the best of times and is such a far cry from what made season 1 so good, in my opinion.

Our episode for June will be FLCL! We're jumping back into Gainax! This is a happy accident of scheduling as FLCL was locked in months ago, then Gurren Lagann happened to win Mecha March Madness! But who can really complain about two iconic Gainax series back-to-back?!
