I think it's a very good compromise that spoilers are a thing that, when you toggle their visibility, take up less space (hiding entirely) vs rendering them censored. It doubles their purpose as "additional context without adding additional noise to the intended content to be read normally"

"is AI conscious" doesn't really matter that much to me because if it actually had the properties to be "conscious", it doesn't mean that it's like the human experience. but if it had private perceptual experience like qualia, the metaphysical implications would make whatever i am even weirder.

This recent talking point of "LLMs are not real AI because it's not alive" feels like some sort of weird mysticism. As if a machine has some sort of magical property that would make it "alive". What does "real AI" look like exactly?
