My own David Attenborough story - when I was fresh out of Uni & an intern at the Beeb, I shyly asked Sir David to sign a book for me. I admitted he was known as ‘Uncle David’ in our house because he was on the TV there so often. He signed the book ‘from ‘Uncle’ David Attenborough’ (I still have it)

Model making an AT-AT walker - it turned out nicely and I even addedd soot marks caused by laser fire (a candle did the job). Instantly placed it outside to be adopted (the route is the goal da da da). Took only 4 (!) minutes and I even had a glance on the guy who found it. We were both very happy.
