Fall in NC

I leant upon a coppice gate When Frost was spectre-gray, And Winter’s dregs made desolate The weakening eye of day. The tangled bine-stems scored the sky Like strings of broken lyres, And all mankind that haunted nigh Had sought their household fires.

Mood

I hope everyone is having/has had a lovely Thanksgiving full of good food, friends, family, and love. It was just hubby and I today so we went to the movies for the first time in months. I’m thankful my right knee replacement is healed enough that I could handle it. Red One was great!!

This morning I dragged myself out of bed at 3:00 to head to the West End Bridge in hopes of capturing the moon over PPG Place and the Christmas tree at the Point in #Pittsburgh. Luckily the clouds stayed away for long enough to allow that to happen. Made for an amazing view.

Gods above I wish I could go back to a time when #complaining about my incorrect Wendy’s order was the worst part of my day. But no. Now it’s the damned zombie apocalypse, and I haven’t had a frosty in going on three years. #vss365
