I walked the Kennedy Center grounds today, and the monumental sculpture “Brush Stroke” sculpture is missing. It belongs to the Hirshorn, so they may have taken it back; but I always suspect the worst with this regime.

The Christmas Eve jazz concert at the Kennedy Center has been canceled. The show’s host, musician Chuck Redd, said, “When I saw the name change on the Kennedy Center website and later on the building, I chose to cancel our concert.”
