Dennis Hopper celebrated his 50th birthday on the set of Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 - on May 17, 1986. Presented with a cake and a bottle of champagne, the newly-sober Hopper proceeded to cut the cake with one of the prop chainsaws in front of the cast and crew.

RIP Robert Carradine. Cannon had the curious inspiration to cast him as a loose cannon, Riggs-style cop in Number One With A Bullet (1987), which technically released before Lethal Weapon but, still, was filmed only two years after the release of Revenge of the Nerds.

Wow! Here's a very, very rare to see one of Cannon's final releases on 35mm. It didn't get much of a release back in 1994 -- I can't imagine there are a ton of prints out there.
