I want good things instead of bad things and I'm not kidding.

Don't let fascists take away your ability to have fun. Enjoy hobbies and creative pursuits, and find time for leisure when possible. Don't let them make you feel bad for seeking out entertainment in tough times. You need to be able to enjoy life, especially to remember that it's worth fighting for.

Dear liberals: you actually don't need to make every post or comment about how awful Donald Trump is. We all know already. The only people who need convincing are his supporters, and they will never be convinced, because they can't be. They already know he's evil, and that's why they worship him.

I'm going to be honest. There are a lot of people far more interesting than myself who have far fewer followers, and many of them post more than I do, about more interesting things. Although conversely, there are also a lot of people who have far more followers yet nothing of value to say at all.

There is value in online activism. Art can be activism. Music can be activism. Promoting mutual aid is activism. Sharing vital information is activism. Just posting about how bad things are is not. I know things are bad. Sharing bad takes so you can point out how bad and wrong they are helps nobody.

Donald Trump is bad. If you're wondering why I don't talk about that more, it's because it's obvious and pointing it out ultimately accomplishes nothing. His followers know he's evil, and they love it. I'll still bring it up from time to time, just in case someone following me didn't know my stance.
