Finished... like all the best non-fiction, it's about so much more than its subject - it's made me think about legacy, loss and resilience and how individuals can make a difference to the world. A wonderful book... even though it put a little dust in my eye... Thank you

Today was the first time I ever saw eider ducks. They are in Portsoy. The males stood out - I had to google them, and was immensely excited to find they were eiders. I went back to photograph them, as a couple and another woman were too. I told them about your amazing book. I do hope they read it.

I really think many British people are against American imports of food. Food and agricultural standards need to be held high. We're not perfect here but please save us from this. Emily Thornberry is right to ask that any trade deal should be debated in Parliament first.

Hereās a great read about why we shouldnāt allow US meat into the UK. * The US has 10x more food poisoning cases than the UK * Many more deaths from salmonella * US agricultural practices do not meet EU safety standards (which UK also follows)

A tragedy in the making. I would hope that the British farming community and consumers are protected by our Government. Unfortunately, I don't think they are strong enough. I would love to be proved wrong. It is a thoughtful, factual, and honest article. It should be widely accessible for all.
