Shopping for a car and it's frustrating how little effort dealers put into listings now. I shouldn't have to trawl through badly taken pictures looking for signs of only two packs that are offered. Happy to upsell other services but can't tell me if it has a panoramic roof etc

Put a friend in gryph and sent him off around the con. It's fun being 5 paces behind your own suit and watching friends reactions half way through a hug when they look up and see me stood behind.

Ugh, apparently I didn't quite fully drain down the outside pipework last time and the latest cold snap claimed a casualty. Also perfectly positioned to absolutely soak me when I opened that ball valve to turn the hose on. ;v;

Another mindfuck is realizing that decision about some aspect of a massive company. There wasn't some process or jury. There's just Some Person that decided most of it. And when that person is you, you get it. People come and think a choice was some huge deliberation. It wasn't. You just... decided.

This looks far to shiny and new to be fitting to this very well used Massey 550 scraper tractor. It's only in for a new engine and king pins rebuilding but going do something about that cab now

Just got lucky with this year's car tax expiring just before they start taxing EV's in April. It was good while it lasted, still saving over £1,300 a year vs what I was paying in diesel. Only an other 4 years untill the Land Rover is over 40 years old and becomes tax exempt

Had a trip up to Aberdeen this weekend. EV charging infrastructure in the UK has improved a lot since last year! With the exception of Hamilton services in Glasgow every services had multiple chargers installed with plenty available. Even used the fancy hydrogen fuel cell chargers at Cairn Lodge.

I planned to spend this evening doing Christmas shopping, what I actually did was get totally distracted,learn about Celtic Rainforests, then spend several hours planning walks in Coed Felenrhyd & Llennyrch and Coed Cadair up to the summit of Cadair Idris.
